midst the British Heavy Metal New Wave effervescence - a movement that emerged between the late 1970s and early 1990s - the speed of punk and more aggressive vocals began to clash within the metal context. All this frenetic acceleration quickly became speed metal (I couldn’t resist this foolishness and I won’t apologize for it). And even quicker it began to lose its temper, fading away to the point of ostracism. It got resurrected without restraint and at a full force in the awake of the old school metal revival, with a whole crop of proud bands that were in accordance with the visual, sound and lyrics typical from the 1980s. The lineage gets renewed.
