verything that doesn’t fit in others categories, is alternative. Simple as that. In this entanglement fits funk metal —a style that in the mid-80s rebelled against the older brother’s rigidity and found a way to break not only necks, but also waists. Weight and groove, how one can resist? Breaking in, everyone came in, bringing in hints of grunge, independent rock, psychedelia, gothic, electronic, industrial and even rap, dominating much of the scene in the early 1990s. A little more aggressive, the next cheeky generation remained open to innovations. I think it's worthy and I try to adapt, although the label "nü" instead of "new" seems to me unnecessary fussiness.
